LEVEL 3:  Stroke Development

  • Enter water by jumping from the side

  •  Headfirst entry from side in sitting and kneeling positions

  •  Bob in water slightly over head to travel to safe area

  • Rotary breathing

  • Survival float and back float

  • Change from vertical to horizontal position on front and back

  • Front crawl and elementary back stroke

  • Push off in a streamlined position then begin flutter and dolphin kicks on front

  • Tread water

  • Scissor kicks
